HISTORY

CH. 00 - Aigis: The First MissionAigis awoke at the Kirijo Ergonomics Research Institute and was taught to speak and act like a machine by Souta Aizawa. Shortly after, she meets a boy named Takashi Tomari who makes her feel an emotion that she doesn't understand.Worried about malfunctioning, it only grows more worried when she discovers that she has her Papillion Heart that allows her to have the potential of human emotion.Her conflict with her own purpose vs. her capability for feeling is tested when she has to make the decision to fight a shadow that harms and almost kills Takashi. Following this event, the individual who gave Aigis her heart- Yuu Kimijima- protects her from a shadow and dies in her arm. Aigis experiences grief for the first time, and vows to become the human that Yuu wanted her to be.Unfortunately, her understanding of herself is ripped from her by the Kirijo Group when they decide to remove her memories. She loses all the memories of Yuu and the legacy she left behind

CH. 01 - Persona 3While enjoying a vacation in Yakushima, SEES encounters Aigis for the first time, looking out at the ocean. During some flirting related antics, Aigis completely ignores Junpei and Akihiko in favor of the SEES leader. She regains part of her memories and flees, only to be re-discovered by the group where they learned of what she was and what her purpose is.She is assigned to SEES as a member and enrolls in Gekkoukan, acting as the SEES leader's bodyguard. Her immense interest in the leader of their group is something that even she doesn't understand. Aigis does her best to fit in with other students, and starts trying to learn to be like them.As the group works together, Aigis starts to go out and experience human emotions where she can. She begins to become aware of topics like death and grief and the concept of life as a whole. She grows to have romantic feelings for the SEES leader, but insists that they can't be together since she believes that they deserve somebody who is flesh and blood. Somebody they deserve to be with.Eventually, Ryoji Mochizuki transfers to the school and Aigis becomes incredibly agitated. She tries to keep the SEES leader away from him by all means necessary.After Ikutsuki's betrayal, he tampers with her programming to attack the members of SEES. On the verge of killing them, Aigis' human instincts take over and she is unable to kill her friends. Due to her strong desire to protect those she cares about, she is able to save everyone from a sudden and untimely death.Aigis later confronts Ryoji on he Moonlight Bridge, and regains all of her memories that were trapped in her circuits. Ten years before everything started, her mission had been to defeat or seal away Death. Unable to defeat him, she managed to seal Death away inside of the SEES leader when they were younger. Aigis is damaged in this confrontation, and has to be repaired by the Kirijo group.After being comforted by SEES, she becomes resigned to the idea of trying to stand against the power of Nyx Avatar. She cries for the first time after his defeat.When everything is over, the SEES leader passes away in Aigis' arms. She sits with them as they drift into sleep and never wake up again.

CH. 02 - The AnswerFollowing the death of the SEES leader, Aigis isolates herself and begins to have nightmares about them and her guilt over their passing. SEES decides to assemble one last time, where they find themselves suddenly locked in a time loop of the same day over and over.They're also assaulted by Metis, another weapon that claims to be Aigis' sister. She defeats the members of SEES, seeing them as a hindrance. Aigis overuses her Orgia Mode and subdues Metis before going unconscious.Aigis then awakes in the Velvet Room, and gains the abilities that the SEES leader once had. She wakes up to find herself appointed the new leader of SEES.Aigis begins to regain the will to live and have emotion as she progresses through their journey through the abyss of time together. The group eventually falls apart and has to fight each other as a result of their conflicting emotions over what to do in regards to changing the past or moving forward with their lives. She finds out that Metis was actually her shadow.Aigis bears witness to the SEES leader's will and reason for dying, and finds herself able to move on.

CH. 03 - Persona 4: Arena UltimaxAigis is called in to lead the Shadow Operatives in stopping a hijacking. Mitsuru informs her an important piece of cargo was stolen that contains a previous generation model such as herself named Labrys. They follow it to Inaba, where they meet Akihiko and find themselves inside of the TV world.Aigis finds other persona users but is forced to fight them in a strange tournament. She meets Labrys and journeys with her, until she ends up finding Labrys confronting her own shadow alongside Yosuke Hanamura and Rise Kujikawa.After Labrys defeats her shadow, Aigis tells her that she understands her plight of being different from humans. They're attacked by Aigis' shadow, where Labryus is hacked into attacking Aigis. After they manage to solve the problem, Labrys and Aigis find a lot of resolve and comfort in each other.
